What is your fastest delivery service?
For local courier shipments, it's White Glove, which is same-day pickup and delivery within 2 hours from the time your order is placed (additional time required for shipments traveling beyond 50 miles). For shipments traveling long distances under 70 pounds, it's Next Flight Out.
Isn't Shipline Security only a local courier service doing business in Los Angeles and Orange County?
No. It's true Shipline Security started in Los Angeles, but over the last sixty years we've expanded our services considerably. Shipline Security is a nationwide courier service. We pickup and deliver in all fifty States, offering nationwide delivery service.
Can I track my shipment from my cell phone?
Yes. You can get up-to-the-minute status of your shipments anywhere, anytime. Simply go to Shiplinesecurity.com on any mobile device, and you can get up-to-the-minute status of your same-day shipment and/or price quotes and estimated transit times.
How is mileage calculated between two points?
Mileage is computed using the haversine formula and the US Census Bureau’s TIGER data. First, air miles are derived using the latitude and longitude (or weighted center) of each zip code. Next, a 1.4 conversion factor is applied to compensate for the route the driver will have to travel in order to get from the origin to destination, considering a straight path from point A to point B is never likely. Is my package insured?
Yes. Our Liability with regard to any package is limited to the sum of $100 unless a higher value is declared for the package at the time of tender, and a greater charge paid.
Can I be notified when my package is delivered?
Yes. Shipment Status Notification (SSN) is an extremely useful tool in time-crucial situations. This free service enables you to obtain a receipt (via fax or email) seconds after your shipment has been completed. Each notification consists of pertinent information such as pickup and delivery times, signature, price, etc...
Can I request a shipping report?
Yes. Upon request, Shipline Security can deliver to you monthly, weekly or daily activity reports. For more information, see Custom Reports.
How can I get a quote for my same-day delivery?

Can I use my credit card to pay for my same-day shipment?
Yes. You can use any major credit card as payment for your same-day shipment. We can automatically debit your Visa, American Express or Master Card on either a per-shipment or per-invoice basis. For more information click here or call 1-800-716-7177.

Can I update my SmartShip password?
Yes. All you have to do is login to your SmartShip account and select "User Profile" from the menu to the left. Here you will be able to make changes to your user profile.
What if I forgot my User ID or Password?
Simply click Forgot My Password, enter your email address and account number. We will then send you an email containing your User ID and Password so you can continue booking your same-day delivery requests online.

What are your delivery service hours?
Shipline Security is a 24 hour delivery service. We offer solutions to your same-day courier shipping needs, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
Is there a waiting time charge?
